Wishing Ed Bassford aka Lord Bracknell a speedy recovery

Most of us know him and know how important his input has been in getting us Falmer. I hope he and Laura's dad sit in the North Stand like Waldorf and Statler for many years to come.

He did a lot of the spadework for Falmer and was able to tie the NIMBYs in knots with his transport FACTS.

Get well soon Ed x

He's a proper old school leftie and I like that. Damn nice bloke and pretty much the perfect team-mate in a pub quiz, I reckon. I also like how proud he is of mine and his county despite the disadvantage of not being born here. I had a lovely chat with him up at that Barnsley away game last season where Dave was dressed as Liam from Prodigy and Dave's bro was freezing his bollocks off dressed as Marilyn Monroe.

And if things go 'orribly wrong (which, at the moment there is no sign of happening), promise me a post or two on
